maybe we could compare squads here and see if we are getting enough from or being punished too much by our coaches?

I`m in Dave Edwards squad (the A TEAM) and even though I find the sessions difficult and tiring,i think you can make any session as hard or easy as you like depending on the effort you put in.
Our squad is very competitive with lots of efforts and short recoveries but there is always good encouragement and a good moral among squad mates

thoughts please on your squad?

Hey hey

Ive been in "hugheys babes" group and have just moved up to Pats group. Hugheys group is for beginners and I think we run up too about 2-2.5 miles.

Hughey is a real good coach to us all, constantly positive and full of encouragement even if youre having a bad night, he's there to try and redeem your faith in running.

Like Harvey Walden says.. "keep it goin.."

I am in Jamies group which is great, we alternate each week between efforts and long runs...........we have a good laugh and have started to meet on a sunday morning at the park to do a bit extra training for a half marathon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I am a returning member .... I run about 5 miles at the mo, approx 10 min miles .... any recommendations as to whcih is the best group for me to join?
